Hike and Bike Trail #3

Sorry for not posting anything yesterday. Dixi has been feeling a bit under the weather so we didn't get out and do much this past weekend.

This is also an older image, from October of 2009. It was taken at the end of the Hike and Bike Trail and is called Mills Pond. It's a really wonderful area for having a picnic or just relaxing.

Hike and Bike Trail #2

Dixie is feeling a bit under the weather today so we've been just hanging out here at the house, watching TV and eating french fries and such.

The image today was taken yesterday during my walk along the local hike and bike trail.

Hike and Bike Trail

There's a really nice hike and bike trail running throughout our neighborhood. It runs through public parks and disc golf areas. It also runs through a wooded area next to a small stream. I've crossed this bridge a time or two while out and about on the trails.

Corner of Lamar and St. Johns

Dixi and I caught this on Wednesday afternoon on the way home from work.

From Our Daily Photo

Lots of Pictures

This is our first posting for Arguendo & Dixi's Daily Austin Photo.

Instead of a single photo we thought we would kick off the whole thing with a slide show of some recent photos we took around Austin.  This first group shows images from inside and outside the state capitol building as well as images from the Lego Experience when it came to town last August.  There are also some images taken inside the gift shop at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum and the Texas DPS helpicopter sitting on the grounds of the Texas DPS headquarters.
